Stanford freshman Josh Nunes is no dummy. In high school he was one of six athletes in California, and the only football player, to win the John Wooden Scholar Athlete Award for athletic and academic achievement. Although from a gay point of view, decommitting from Tennessee and blowing your chances of hanging out with hotties Aaron and Zach Rogers wasn’t a very good decision. However, sharing the sidelines with the tall, dark and handsome look of fellow Stanford freshman Jordan Najvar isn’t so bad.
Back to football
In his three-year prep career Josh threw for 6,306 yards and 54 touchdowns and was rated as the 13th-best pro-style quarterback in the nation by Rivals.com.
At 6-4, 205 lbs he has the build, ability and fundamentals to run Jim Harbaugh’s offense. Josh will certainly redshirt this season but look for him to challenge Andrew Luck next season for the starting job.
